Bumping an old thread on a board that hasn't has a post since 2022 to day hey Becca, I finally read your book On Home. Felt like a real treat after years ago getting so many updates about the process and all the work you put into it. I don't read a ton of fiction and often when I do it's more in the sci-fi realm, so it was a bit out of my wheelhouse but I enjoyed it. What an immense undertaking, you should be proud!
I am also currently reading Joyful Militancy, and my favorite two reads of 2024 were Close To The Knives: A memoir of Disintegration by David Wojnarowicz and Everything for Everyone: An Oral History of the New York Commune, 2052-2072 by Eman Abdelhadl and M.E. O'Brien.
Hope you are well, old punks.
