i mean, to be fair if we're lucky enough to have 1 post a day that's a good indication this place is long gone.

i'm hanging tight here, white knucklin it. PIX 4 LIFE. i said it before, i'll say it again. nothing sparks conversation like a good troll/asshole/dude who thinks everyone here is a folkpunkvegan (that was someones actual account name..i dunno if anyone remembers that character. that was like back in, i dunno, 06?).. maybe we are, maybe some are, maybe no one is. anyway, yeah..

what's good? how's life? (to anyone still crawling around these parts like gollum)

Feel free to tell me go fuck off, but we could consider making a Facebook group. Actually get notifications when people post and respond, have it integrated into the rest of our online lives.
It would definitely kill the board for real but we'd probably all actually talk to each other a lot more.

I like the board. It's hanging in there. Like Keith Richards.

That's kinda the thing, too... a lot of us are friends on facebook and/or instagram, so it seems a little redundant to post on here.

I would "like" this if it was a Facebook board

I feel like your thing was more than just talking about being high. Did you use being high as a defense for saying shitty things? I can't keep the board villains straight. I've been so obsessed with briantightpants that I've neglected the other board villains.

True.  I spoke about whether or not I'd like to have sex with particular women, and then blame it on being high.  I also send creepy messages to board members.

i've posted on every substance, from heroin to pcp to crack to methadone, etc. not for "shock value" or to say crazy shit nor use it as an excuse for anything. unfortunately it's just my life and me. just be real about shit.

anyway, i'm watching this at the moment. someone might enjoy it

Almost all of my other forums have done this and it has been kind of great.

I like the Facebook group idea. People who come to the board can be warned that the board is mostly inactive and direct them to the Facebook group. If it's a closed group that requires an invite, people could post on the board and ask for an invite. I really don't know how all of this works, I just know that I have liked the Facebook groups I have been a part of and think it would be fun. The board does seem to allow for more privacy and anonymity but that's the only real advantage I can think of of.

It sucks, I really like the idea of online spaces controlled and maintained by the community that uses them. But the convenience of Facebook's one-stop-socializing has made it kind of a hard sell to get people to keep participating.

Yeah Facebook just depresses me these days.  Everyone I know is married, having kids, and in general doing better at life than me.   Even without the activity, I check the board more often than I do Facebook.

The board is my #3 most checked site, if that says anything.
