Having said that, I'd rather listen to Papa Roach than GG Allin

I can't at all agree with the Mountain Goats, but the Beatles, Jawbreaker and Op Ivy make sense.

What about Built to Spill?  Operation: Cliff Clavin?

Pat2099

Can, kraftwerk, the lemonheads, Harry Nilsson.

I haven't even heard of two of these before.

I'd take the worst Nofx songs over the best meatloaf songs every day all day

I will take the worst meatloaf song over the best nofx song at least half the time.

My entire house is planning on quite possibly making a halloween cover band to do meatloaf songs.

You would really prefer to listen to Meatloaf to than The Decline? Say what you will about NOFX but they were the shit when I was a teenager and I still can listen to Punk in Drublic and enjoy it. The Decline has got to be their best, though. Honestly, the b side compilation (disc 1) is pretty great too.

I'm in the same page when it comes to Saves the Day; not a fan. I haven't listened to much of the Kinks but will check them out. I just know two songs off the top of my head.

I know it's cliche but Green Day? Is there anyone here who has not really liked at least one of their albums in their entire life? Lookout! era Screeching Weasel is pretty hard to argue with as well. What about Propagandhi?

I just got done listening to a bunch of NOFX songs and I forgot how great they can be. A lot of their songs make me roll my eyes when I hear them now but they do have some that hold up pretty well. I don't think they should be so quickly dismissed.

Doesn't everyone like the Beastie Boys?

I made a mix a few years ago based on this song when it was unbearably hot and gloomy a few summers ago. The Kinks rule.

No one has said they dislike jawbreaker.

Everything else has been down voted, well green day and beastie boys haven't been yet, but I don't see that lasting long. They both get a pass from me though.
