pretty hauntingly beautiful right? it's always been one of my fav mountain goat songs (i got all hail west texas first, listened to it obsessively for over a decade so it has a special place in my heart) and hearing it so bombastic and, i dunno, punk i suppose cuz it's kinda fucking punk and heavy and beautiful this version.. it's rules. can't say that enough.

This is what they closed with when I saw them last week. Got super psyched. The whole show was fantastic.
