Expected, but sickening. It was a foregone conclusion though.

It was inevitable that he wouldn't be found guilty, but I most definitely don't think it was inevitable that he wouldn't be indicted.

Not that I had faith in it happening.

I disagree. As soon as it went to a grand jury, we knew it was over.

Per FiveThirtyEight, the number of people not indicted at a Grand Jury:

Police: 80 in 81
Everyone else: 11 in 162,000

Grand juries basically rubber-stamp all cases that don't involve cops, but it's essentially impossible to get a GJ to indict a cop unless he virtually admits to wrong doing.

This is so sad. I personally don't know if I think he's guilty or not, but it's definitely worthy of a trial.

I went to a local rally/march, and hear some great words from people in the community.

It usually doesn't help much when the prosecutor is blatantly siding with the defense in the first place. Dude played a role in the I Am Darren Wilson funding and is one of the worst people imaginable.

Yeah the Federal Government is investigating this right now I think.

The assistant prosecutor handed a law to the grand jury stating that a cop has the right to shoot and kill someone simply for fleeing the officer, which was ruled unconstitutional in 1985, then weeks later handed out the correct law and basically told the jury "just don't worry" about the difference between the correct law and the one they had been operating under for weeks, and didn't even explain which part was incorrect.

Yeah.  It's sickening and the implications of this are super scary and it just sets precedence for other shitty racist cops to follow suit.  Wilson is eligible for having federal charges brought against him but I don't have a lot of hope that it will happen.

I don't understand how there isn't a bigger call for Bob McCulloch to be disbarred.

The response has been very moving to me. A lot of positive outreach through rallies and real community building has been happening here every day since the decision.
