having just moved to canada from the uk i am very excited at the amount of new soda pops i get to try. i am mostly trying to sample every kind of root beer possible but jones's bubblegum is also up my alley, as are most apple flavoured things. the jarritos i've tried have been good. there is also a higher quality of cream soda over here, they were mostly all terrible in the uk. i'm not a huge cream soda fan but could be partial to one once in a while now i know i can get decent ones.

also me and kw are planning a root beer zine so any root beer fans should look out for that in the not too distant future.

wrong. it is not really covered under our health care system, and is extremely expensive otherwise. The last few months I have come to terms, for the first time in probably 6 years, that I should probably seek some medication to help me control some issues. Naturally, now that I am confidant in that decision, I don't have the resources to see someone who can properly prescribe me that medication, and help me choose which one is best.

I think most of our answers in this thread have been real bummers. It's kind of interesting, if you think about it. Maybe we should start a town and pool our resources.

i live in toronto, ontario and am working my tail off to get my vegan hot dog cart off the ground. it is called "rescue dogs," and will have all homemade vegan hot dogs, cheese sauce, chilli, coleslaw, and a slew of other things. until then i am managing a restaurant, doing a bunch of writing, and taking lots of photos at shows and around town. i have a really rad partner with whom i have been spending a lot of time, and things really seem to be on equal footing and mutually positive, which is great.

- my partner just left for a week, and we spend an incredibly large amount of time together, so it will be weird to not have them around.
+ they're off doing really fun, positive things, so my negative feelings are quite tempered, and mostly i am just stoked for them
+ gonna spend some time with my grandfather and look for new jobs this week

all of the insane injustice i've heard about that has gone on in Brazil makes it really unappealing, even if I do actually like some sports.

i love that icq usernames were just a random succession of numbers not a single person could ever remember. I used it a ton to talk to my friends in Canada before they all moved to msn messenger... somehow AIM never took off for a majority of them.
