those dates are perfect too, we have shows on the 30th and 31st and record the week after, so we'd be able to have it for both. fingers crossed!

so grandpa kw bought this lovely, relatively compact 2x15" sunn guitar cabinet that he is very excited to play through. unfortunately, it is in brooklyn, new york and needs to get to st. catharines ontario.

if you, your band, or anyone you know, happens to be driving from brooklyn to buffalo, rochester, or anywhere in ontario anytime in the next month or two and wants to transport this lovely cabinet for me, i would be in your debt. i can offer some gas money, photography work, a home baked pecan pie, and a lot of love.

i've had this thread for a bit. thought i'd give it some context. i stopped playing music a long while ago, and recently my partner and i have begun playing together. it has been super fun and really rewarding. we recorded our first songs last month and are "releasing" them on friday the 13th... but i thought i'd share them here. the first time i played songs and started recording them, i shared them here... like 15 or whatever years ago. so that's cool.

it is a doom metal band, the lyrics talk about queer, intersexed, and feminist issues. i am really proud of it.

+ i am sitting at my desk in my new room on the third floor of a lovely house in st. catharines, ontario. my feline companions are so happy to have a plethora of windows to look out, the two roommates who aren't my partner seem so happy to have me here and were so helpful when i was moving in, and my partner has been just tremendous throughout this whole move. communicative, helpful, understanding when i get anxious and stressed out. i am really happy i made this move, and think it will be the prelude to a really exciting and positive 2015. at least i hope!

+ going back to toronto next week for 4 days to see the hold steady play a 4-night residency at a legendary venue in town. couldn't be more excited.
