These aren't technically my kittehs, they're belong to one of the people I live with but she's not around half the time so I pretty much take care of them. They are called Safran (supposedly named after the author, not the spice) and Sniff (named after the scared rat-dude from Moomin since she's so scared of everything)

And here's me giving Safran Cat Massage

I'm lame, I only have one and it's straight from an album cover.
Yea but it's a kitty.

People on varying forms of public transportation have actually come up to me to tell me what a cute cat I have on my arm.

Planning to get one based on a propaganda poster from Vietnam on the inside of my leg though which will be killer. Don't know if I'm comfortable with having an AK on my body though even though I support armed revolution, we'll see how it turns out.

we just finished re-watching the first season of orange is the new black and we're starting the new season tonight! so stoked

i'm also super into game of thrones but i'm pretty sure waiting for the next season/new book is going to be even more excruciating than breaking bad. ugh. the last episode was dope but i was annoyed that it all centered around the wall/didn't visit anyone else. I NEED UPDATES ON TYRION

Imagine how the wait was for us book readers! Albeit I started reading the books when ASOS was released so I'm not one of those people that's been around since 96 but still. Reading AGOT, ACOK and then (the best fantasy book ever released) ASOS and having to wait for the next part, and that part being the incredibly boring AFFC. It was horrible!

I liked the episode, but yes, I don't feel that the Wall storyline can carry an entire episode on its own, especially when not much even happened. However, the portrayal of Alliser Thorne was incredible in that episode, so gooooooood!!.....

General / What did you think of Maleficent?

There was a thread on the old forum about Maleficent so I guess I'll have to start a new one to get a discussion on it!

I thought it was pretty terrible, which was incredibly frustrating since there are a lot of really good scenes (i would say that a majority of the scenes in the film feel like they should be in a great film) but as a whole it was just mindboggingly bad. The pacing was horrendous and the story felt incredibly contrived, I have a theory that the original script wasn't based on Sleeping Beauty at all but Disney wanted to cash in on an existing brand (the economic crisis fucked over Hollywood big time </3) and therefore made the script writers push two scripts together to create this schlock.

Very disappointed, especially since it really felt that it could've been great if only there was some finesse.

Also, Angelina Jolie is great. I'd watch the film just for her and the cinemtography in some of the shots, even though it was a really frustrating watch I still kind of enjoyed it in some weird way.
