Haha, Becca... I have a clear memory of arguing with you about gender and "psychology class." Must have been almost 10 years ago at this point. You hit the nail on the head on how those arguments made me feel.

Oh man, I don't remember this. What were we arguing?

I've come to find out through my various Facebook posts that my parents seem to be a lot more conservative than I thought they were.

this is the weirdest. not my parents in particular, but other family members. the worst was when my uncle posted something basically saying he didn't care if muslim kids were killed because they were all future terrorists anyway.

I'm pretty good at ignoring a lot of the shit people post but I still manage to get sucked in. Usually when I post a comment that I think is going to be like super common sense and hard to argue with and then people are still ridiculous about it.

Debates on Facebook are the worst. You get all worked up about something and it actually damages relationships. And you have to worry about what your mom and employers think. Too stressful. Bring back the champagne room?

I just remembered! I learned about koalacaust when they opened for mischief brew!
#265
I don't dislike them, I just don't really ever listen to them now
#266
I don't really listen to them anymore but I saw Bad Religion open for Blink 182 before I knew who they were.

Also, my first concert, when I was 9, was They Might Be Giants. I didn't know them at all, they were just playing the college in my hometown and I wanted to be cool and go to a show.

Good! Just making sure you weren't practicing it. And even though it is quack bullshit, I know a ton of people who think it is legit. I'm surprised there aren't more books out there.

Yeah, so there are the brands you can get at target like the Bjorn or Ergo but these are brands sold only online or in fancy kid boutiques. The most expensive ones are converted from hand woven wraps into buckle carriers or sscs  (soft structured carriers). They retail for about $350 new but because they're made in very limited batches will go for $600ish or even more if they are super in demand. I've seen some go for $3000. So it's this whole big thing when they release new ones..people try to get them from the website so they can flip them and they sell out in 10 seconds. Then certain retailers will get exclusive prints and people who live near them will drive for hours to get them for $170 so they can sell them for $300-$500 later. And the market goes up and down, like right after tax season everyone is spending a ton on them and certain days of the week. People want certain ones for different reasons. Like there's a print called Little Heroes with super heroes on it which was big because people wanted them for their kids with disabilities. And people make accessories for them and sell them on etsy and if your carrier has good accessories it ups its value. It's a whole weird world
