Hah!  I was standing right outside Turner Field when that happened.  The (mostly-empty) stadium went wild!

I'm spending my Fourth of July seeing the Braves play the Diamondbacks.  Got a student discount on the tickets so they were only 12 bucks each!

i tried to make an image macro out of the winks above but it didn't turn out too well

Running has become too difficult at my current weight level, i kinda walk for a minute, go to a light jog for 30 sec and back usually in a hilly area. I loved running to much when i was in better shape. i would go to the gym and run for 45 min to an hour.
it does give a killer natural high
kinda makes ya feel strong too, like you could kick some ass
Going around nature is even better, cause you can enjoy it more than say, biking, which i do more nowadays.
but you can go so fast on a bike you pass the beautiful stuff

I have been avoiding this thread because when i think about answering it i get really sad....then mad [at myself]....then make grand plans....start to enact them.... but its gonna be like, a year or more before i'll have anything worthwhile to say... to be continued

my neighbor has one of those storage containers and said he would sell it to me after he emptied it (it would be a few years before i could afford to get it and do the stuff above anyways).

NEW THOUGHT! Lets all move to whateverwefuckingcallit and live in tiny houses with solar panels which will give more than enough electricity that we can sell some back to the electrical companies and if we all pool that extra $ into the town we'll have a kickin horse on broken hill kinda town!!!!!!!!

speaking of tiny houses i wants to build one of these:

I know i have posted here and there about having a true blue phobia of "dementia" and alzheimers, a serious probloem with memory (just as much an aspect of my depression as from my decade of drug use), and my passion for nootropic / smart drugs / cognitive enhancers whatever you want to call them

My mind palace is a store, a big box retail store. Blue for things that happened before i was 18 (like lowes home imporvement) orange for after (like homedepot). Aisle dealing with events that happened outside are filled with vines and sicks and stuff hanging around. Electricial and games likewise.
Aisle three, orange, first time hearing beethoven's 9th, first bay (favorites) at the bottom (first time). Half way up a with favorite expericens , the same 9th symphony, that night on LSD when it felt... when i experienced it.

and so on.

I am currently buildings and practices my mind palace. It IS a real thing, no just something made up for sherlock. I  have honestly and sadly lost all my will to live...and this is one way i am trying to find meaning in continuing to do so. I will create and build a mind balace so incredible that i may, just may, content for the memory olympics.

I am a quarter through Sympathy for Lady Vengence

it is soooo fucking awesome. the writer/director of the vengence trilogy is fucking amazing.
such unique style. and i know its weird that i'm going to watch the first one last, sympathy for mr. vengence
but i read too much of the plot on wikipedia and didn't seem to like it but whatever it is, it will be done with style

completely different lyrics, much more somber and sad. I kind of figured out how to play it and play it pretty much every time i pick up my guitar. I like this hopeful happier version. but i still play the sad one though cause i is always sad

ya last night i watched five minutes of it before turning it off. Spike Lee seemed to miss the point entirely. Josh Brolin's Oh-Dae Su was so unlikeable and horrible that I would have wanted all the horrible things to happen to him, and that defeats the whole purpose of the film. Its because the Korean Oh-Dae Su (sorry if name is wrong) was such a charismatic, funny, and loveable person that the sympathy as a viewer i felt for him increasingly rose as the film went on. He loved his family. He had a birthday present for his daughter. Not Josh Brolin's womanizing uncaring mess of shit.

I watched Doomsday Book last night too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Amazing sci-fi anthology on netflix. I'm on a Korean film kick right now, about to check out Sympathy for Mr. Vengence
