Definitely the La Croix berry flavor..although occasionally I get in the mood for just plain sparklin' water. (With a teeensy weensy little shot  of urine..)

Hope things get resolved and you two get to move on with your lives. My gf's ex is an asshole too. He might as well drop a bag of rice off on the doorstep once a month for all he helps or cares.

I'll pass your wish for a violent Mack-induced death on to the prayer group when we get together for beer pong on Sunday.
Dominus Nabisco. May the assholes all be consumed in burning hemorrhoidal flames. Amen.

I went through just about everything here. You guys are really good at what you do and the love shows.

Some things I wrote down as I listened:

Jerkemy are those sampled video game sounds? Or recreated? Very cool.

Wolves drinking beer. :)

Your voice sounds really awesome Nyla. I'm glad you wrecked it for those recordings. My speakers were incredulous as it was.

THE POWER - Those drawings are awesome! I kept getting lost in the little details.

Montezuma's stuff was worth listening to twice. Both sites.

QuoteI broke a string, tore up my hand on the broken string, then while our friends played I found someone with bass strings, ran around the building to get them, hopped a fence, and changed my string in time to play again. It was a nightmare, but I was pretty proud of myself.
- You should be. That's a story to tell forever.

Totally a fan of Sweatlands, Ankle Grease, I Made This Mistake, Pretty Hot/Ghost Mice(I've lived off of dumpster pizza..that made me LOL), Defiance, Ohio and pretty much everything by Anti-Creative. You guys rock so hard.

(Glory Days with a banjo was genius, myles.)

Thanks for sharing everybody. I'm doing pretty simple stuff. Not sure what to call it. If you have any ideas..please fill me in. Seriously..thanks. I'm calling it folk punk for now and hoping it sticks.

You know homeopathy is a load of shit, right?

Why do you think it's so hard to find the books? Phrenology is the same way. When I was working flea markets, you quickly got a feel for what was hard to find and what was dime-a-dozen. Homeopathy books, tasseography..anything esoteric just doesn't come up used that often, particularly if it was quack bullshit.. Makes a perfect hobby..IMHO.

:D

General / I collect bathrooms
July 09, 2015, 07:59:35 AM
Ok, the fact that you collect baby carriers is awesome. I love hobbies like that, because mine's a bit off the beaten path.

My collection may seem like "not a collection", but to me it is very real. It's a bit dirtbaggy..but I'm an adrenaline junkie and this is one of my passions..breaking the law in benign or beneficial ways. I've been smoking weed in unchristened bathrooms since I was 14 and I remember most of the really cool ones. Some examples of my collection:

One time I was packing a bowl and breaking up some weed on this baby diaper changing station at a truck stop. The lock on the stall was loose and some guy knocked it open just checking for occupancy. I whipped around and said "Diaper Station maintenance man, be done in just a second." Then I flushed the toilet, blasted the bowl, waited 5 seconds, opened the stall door, smiled and walked on..holding my breath the entire time. Blew it through a wad of  paper towels at the sink.

One of my absolute prizes is the time I walked past the metal detectors at Greeley Court House/Police Station to pay a ticket with a wooden bowl and a fat bag of weed in my pocket. Paid the fine. Smoked a fat bowl in their bathroom (door about 5 feet from the pay window), and unlike my usual attempts at discretion, I blew it all over the bathroom..all up in it...I'm surprised smoke didn't follow me out. Speed-sticked myself and left behind a bit of glory or a little shame depending upon your perspective.

There was this time I was at Wal*Mart working on my Good morning/Good afternoon/Good evening campaign, where I say good morning, good afternoon, or good evening to everyone at Wal*Mart (depending upon the time of day), Home Depot and Meijer and watch their reactions. It's been very therapeutic as far as calming my constant cynicism about the heart of the human race. It's conditioning not intent as far as I can tell. That's hopeful.

I saw this mostly disoccupied bread aisle and thought "why not smoke a bowl right in the middle of the store?" Because why? Well because it was there challenging me like a cliff to be climbed, a ramp to be jumped or a rail to be slid.

I ducked my head down near the lower shelves and reached back near an empty area like I was grabbing some bread near the back and lit the bowl and hit it. Pulled a loaf out, looked at it, put it back. Walked a sec then turned my head and blew through a hole between the brands toward the back of the shelf to trap the smoke. Sigh.  Pure joy for me.

I told you it was a little dirtbaggy. Sorry if your bread bag smelled like chronic. (Unless you enjoyed it. )

I also collect books on esoteric subjects, DIY (focused on homeopathy), data compendiums and rock biographies. I only buy at thrift stores and yard sales to make it more challenging.

My oldest is "The Zodiac and Its Mysteries" by Professor A.F. Seward from 1915. The most accurate on astrological subjects related to Sun signs is "You're Every Sign" by Phyllis Firak-Mitz. Definitely a mind-blower.  Strangest? An old book on hypnotism which I'm having trouble finding to remember the title. Favorite DIY book? Either the Anarchist Cookbook or the Reader's Digest Complete Do-It-Yourself Book. Most entertaining rock biography? Full Moon the story of Keith Moon. (Forget that he was a womanizer just long enough to watch his trainwreck and you will be amply rewarded.)

Name: Roger Dafremen

Username Meaning: When I was 12 - 15 I was really into Dune. My original online name back around 1981 (BBS's, DDial) was Roger The Fremen. I started signing things "Da Fremen."  Soon it was dafremen. People started calling me daf and daffy and it's stuck ever since.

Location: Detroit

Age: I'm an immortal being currently residing in a wrinkled, gravity-battered meat puppet. (It's not as delicious as it sounds..even with slaw.) I'm hoping for a refurb come next lifetime.

Gender/Pronouns: male/he,hey!(you,dumbass,dipshit,dude,bro,daf etc.)

What You Do: I'm semi retired. That means after spending the adopted half of my childhood being plugged in and conditioned for "success", I stood up in the middle of my $42/hour engineering job at Caterpillar, saw nothing but a half mile of cubicles and fluorescent lights, recalled the movie Brazil and thought, "What the fuck am I doing here? I don't belong here." I gave my notice that day and told my wife. She left a couple of years after the money dried up. (The universe really had my back on that one.) Now I do odd jobs, write, grow weed and make music with a girl I love to death.

Favorite Music: I really hate this question. I grew up listening to early rap and speed/heavy metal, but prefer upbeat folk stuff these days. Here are some examples: https://youtu.be/o7Gpul2E3pE   https://youtu.be/ES4JdPkWsJE

Likes: Words, words, words, Quake2, riding my 49cc bike, home brewing, growing..well anything, but mostly dope, fixing things on the cheap, inventing things out of junk, music, music, music and more music.

Pet Peeves: Being asked what my favorite song/band/music is. Manipulative people (Especially the people who get mad at you when you call them out on it. Mad at a brother because he didn't fall for your shit? Really? Note to self: WTF?!) On that note: People who smile while they exploit you and pretend like you're the asshole for calling them on their draining ways. Bullshitters. (When I say bullshitters, I distinguish them from tall tale tellers and people who are jut having fun with words. If there's no gain in it other than entertainment, then it's not really bullshit. It's theater.) Mean-spirited jokes. Overly dependent people. Ingrates. Judgmental people who don't know they're judgmental and the fact that I am one. The fact that I can't seem to stop talking. Even when I strained my chords. (They still haven't healed completely because it's so bad.)

Social Media: http://www.musicpage.com/penniless https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009298995692 (I'm too old to know how to twitter, but I do have a telegraph in the kitchen if you want to keep me posted.)

(As a result of seeing smokii's photo, I'm currently sanding down the 4 foot pencil I keep by the door for emergency defense and writing "COP CLUBBER" on it in sharpie. Well played. Will post photos.)

Thanks for reading all of that.

Hello?

Shit. Everyone left.
