What are you getting into these days, music wise? Doesn't matter the genre or how old. Post your recommendations.

Loved your emo playlist. The Sorority Noise and Hotelier ones were particularly bangin! I even liked the vhs guy at the end.

My heart goes out to you. Im interested in how her communication has been with you since telling you. Has she been readily willing to discuss everything about it? Like why, who, how? Ive been lucky enough to only have this happen (that i know of) in relationships that werent too serious. But I do know that its nearly impossible to regain trust without the offending party being completely open, honest, and nurturing. I dont agree with people who say you could never trust them again. But if they aren't willing to do all the hard work (a long time spent trying  to make you comfortable in the relationship again, counseling, a lot of reassurance, a lot of uncomfortable conversations, etc) to help you regain trust then you're probably gonna have to leave eventually. I know it hurts like hell, and it may seem bleak. But please remember that people go through this all the time and eventually make it to the other side happy and healthy. You'll get there too no matter how you end up handling it. I dont know you, but no one deserves that and im rooting for you.

Basically just a boatload of open grass. I had no problems with the location. Me and a few friends usually cram into a rental and drive up there so I dont really know much about the location, but i really had no issues with it. I felt safe. The only thing is that if youre not super early each day, then you have to find street parking and you might end up with a lengthy walk.

I like some of the newer bands too.Violent Soho's "Hungry Ghost" and Basement's "Colourmeinkindness" are both good "grunge revival" albums.

Thats so frustrating. Such enjoyable music. People need to be good to each other though. I hope no one will make excuses for Ben. Its just not acceptable.

So ive gone to Riot Fest the last 4 years and I really love it. Big outdoor fests arent for everyone. But if youre considering it then you should go for it.

I would be absolutely shocked if he believed much of what he says. Im pretty sure hes just in it for money or attention. I imagine his shift toward the right is simply because so many people on the left called him out/finally saw through him. And he found the right to be a bit more susceptible to his shit.

General / Re: Do you make new friends?

Once I talked about this (lack of success forming new friendships) with a psychologist and she told me:"Youre plenty acceptable, but youre not conveying your value to people when you first meet them. You have to ask yourself 'what reason have I given them to believe I add value to their life."
I will admit that this hasnt actually worked, and sometimes its painful to even think about the lack of value im apparently conveying to people. But it makes sense. You should prolly make sure you're displaying something cool about yourself before people will care to invest in your relationship.

I am now 31 years old and I still listen to tons of pop punk. Always finding new bands I dig. For alot of people its just a phase I guess. But it shouldnt be. Its tremendous fun in a world with not enough. Also, The Max Levine Ensemble is the reason i first started lurking this board way back in the day. How To Build..... is still one of my all time favorite albums ever ever. What a masterpiece.
