This thread makes me sad because I can't drink beer anymore

I quit my job that was causing me a lot of stress and anxiety and have a new one that I like better, at least now that I'm three weeks in. I've been feeling pretty positive lately which gives me hope that I might finally be able to go off the anti-depressants that I've been on for over two years!

I'm going to get my masters in Applied Behavior Anlysis. My top choice right now would be Simmons College in Boston but I'll probably apply to a couple of others as well. I'd prefer to stay somewhere in the northeast though, just so I can afford to go back home for holidays and stuff without having to sell some of my organs to be able to pay for it.

I'm in the process of applying to a couple of grad schools in the US for the fall semester of 2015. I have to include my CV with the application which means that I have to upgrade it and also try to translate it properly into english. Would anyone here be willing to read it and give me comments for improvements when I'm done with it?

This is probably at least 10 years before I was born but my parents look really adorable there.

I would be down for a soda trade too! Iceland has a bunch of really good sodas. My favourite is Appelsin, which is an orange soda that doesn't taste anything like orange.

I started doing spanish on Duolingo, it's so much fun!

I don't even use elastics for my buns, but I have enough hair for three people on my head

Haha I'm also dealing with a teenage kitty, she's so bratty and defiant!

I'm fluent in Icelandic, English and Swedish, and I can get by in German, Danish and some Norweigian. Reading kids books out loud, watching movies with or without subtitles (depends on how far along you are) and listening to audio books are all good ways to stay in practise.

This is my sweet and beautiful kitty Yrja, she's around a year old and I adopted her about three months ago






And here's Oliver, he was the best cat ever but he passed away in March.
