As shitty as this week has been, this song was released and it's been on repeat every day.

it's kind of painful for me to talk about but this happened with me and the person i'm seeing presently, back in september /october of last year. we're still together. it works most of the time because we (hopefully) both understand that the relationship should just end if one of us is unhappy in it or whatever, but it does fucking suck and is painful. honestly i try not to think about it too much.

i don't know if it's good advice or anything but i would try to get a feeling about whether it works for you two to continue, if that's something you're both interested in. it's okay if you two wind up splitting up over it. i know that will completely fuck up your shit and it is terrifying but you have to place your self and your future ability to be happy above temporary crisis. i know that's assuming that kind of split is financially viable which is a massive assumption.

Don't really have anywhere else I post where people don't really know who I am, but I need to put this out there somewhere because it's fucking me up inside.

My wife who I have been with for 10+ years and have a 4 year old with told me she cheated on me 6 months ago today. It's absolutely killing me inside. I don't know what to do. Can't even begin to process the entire thing. Just spent hours crying and trying to talk about it with her, but I'm absolutely freaking gutted right now.

Not sure what I want anyone to say or what I am hoping to accomplish from this post, but I needed to put it out there and tell someone. My three best friends don't live in the same city as me and while I have friends here there aren't really any I feel close enough with to talk to in person about this, so right now I'm stuck just bottling it up and dealing with it all on my own and I hate that.

Guess that's it. Hope your lives are going a little better than mine.

I've owned 3 houses and I'm only 32, so I know how stressful selling and buying can be. Good thing the market is really really hot right now, at least it is where I live. You should be able to make some money if you didn't trash the place  ::).

Knowing Pat there is definitely a 50/50 chance this thing will never be reprinted, meaning in 10 years you'll have a folk punk album that may cost you three figures if it can be found at all.  ???

Misplaced my copy of this. Went to discog, there are none for sale on there. Went to ebay there is one listed for $90 and the last copy that sold went for $80 plus shipping. When did this happen? Didn't Chris just release a second press last year right before he declared pix to be dead? Wonder if he has a shit ton of copies somewhere, he said he sent all his extra stuff back to the bands, but since they are no longer a band who knows where they went.

Long story short. I want a copy of it and I can't find one and this is me ranting about it. That is all. : )

Alright so this is from 2018 and not 2017, but this album just dropped and it's the catchiest emo/pop punk album ever written. Enjoyable from start to finish.

Now Jesse from Brand new. Just got Science Fiction in the mail too. That makes three albums I have purchased this year and later regretted once past actions of the creator have come to light.

Every day it's someone new it seems. While there are different levels to how shitty people are Weinsteins/Cosby obviously worse then CK's and Kevin Spacey is somewhere in the middle, but it doesn't make what CK did any less shitty.

As far as sad and shitty news one of the guys from dear landlord is up on murder charges after selling dope to someone who overdosed. Supposedly he's the "Chris clavin of heroin" according to people on facebook. Whatever the fuck that means. Pretty sad for him and the victims family

Yeah I don't know what's that means either but that sucks. I read the google document where people have shared their stories and my first thought was that Chris is the Bill Cosby of folk punk.

I wish Kimya Dawson would have said something earlier. I understand that a lot of people are/were scared because of Chris's social status but Dawson became much more well known than Chris as time went on. I know hindsight is 20/20 and all and I'm not wanting to sound critical of her this all just sucks so much. I really wish there would have been an intervention earlier so he could've gotten help earlier but at least he's doing that now (hopefully) and the victims can start working through it now too. I would think having Chris coming to their towns now and then would be a huge trigger previously and it would suck to know that your abuser is still out seemingly unchecked.

I'm still confused, didn't Paul say something earlier and got ostracized from the community because of it? Not that that happening to Paul means Kimya shouldn't have also said something, but I spent a few years now thinking Paul was an awful person for some vague unknown reason and now I feel pretty awful knowing that a large part of that may have been me just taking faith in the wrong people and believing them when they said he fucked up.

Basically a week or so later and I still feel horrible about this. I was just starting to come to terms with the PWR BTTM situation and now I get to hate more of my hero's.

Since I never got the full story on Paul B was this all part of the reason he left pix and the Bloomington scene? From comments of his on FB he seems pretty adiment about knowing about all this and having taken a stand several years back, but no one being on his side when he tried to do something about it.
