Lagwagon day is a week from Saturday. Does anyone know why these songs are named after dates?
Edit: I looked up the lyrics from both and Lagwagon's song seems a little less ambiguous (of course). May 16 by Lagwagon seems to just refer to the day he wrote the song...and it was on a Saturday. Lagwagon day seems to only come once every 7 years.

My get outta punx moment will be this statement: I like Lagwagon more than Jawbreaker. I would rather listen to 3 hours of Lawagon than 3 hours of Jawbreaker any day.

I'll agree that Jawbreaker was a better band in terms of being more meaningful but I find Lagwagon to be more enjoyable.
