Right now as I type this we are using the "Blue Star Theme"
What do you think of it?
[edit: changing this to a general "update" thread about changes to the board]
whoa the Quick Reply box looks all fucked up
fucked up as in it page stretches? if so, yuuuup.
is the idea that youd keep the color scheme too, or just testing the formatting and layouts?
We'd likely be keeping the colors as well, I don't feel with messing with the CSS stylesheet and updating the color scheme
Other than the quick reply box being wonky, this one seems okay. Not that it matters, but the Twitter button image is broken too.
i fixed the quick reply box, i'm a hero
ah man our logo doesn't fit
The youtube auto embed code now works again (works with Vimeo too), and Avatars are bigger
Also, most posts are displayed per page
karma log is back
This color scheme makes me feel like I'm trapped in a preteen girl's bedroom. Her mom will discover me in her closet any day now.
edit
I disapprove of the gender options :X

i agree that is definitely whack
You can direct your complaints to SMF, those are not options I was able to determine
that sucks
The colors are a little silly but it's not so bad. Especially if Tim can hook it up with the CSS style sheets. I'm sorry SMF sucks at gender representation equality =(
i didn't mean to be mean or anything, i was just dismayed to hear that it's "hard coded" in there
we probably need a rules thread, whenever you get the chance
I admire the fact that the code for this forum is so old "MSN Messenger" is still a thing even though I'm reasonably sure it shut down in 2009.
would it be possible to set it so that after posting a reply, you go back to the thread you just posted in rather than back to the forum itself?
unless of course nobody else would want this.

It was rolled in to Skype after microsoft bought Skype in 2011 but is still technically a thing.

I have this option set up as a default now, but you might have registered your account before i made this the default user option. You should go into your account personal settings and do this on your own.
okay, rabbit, i think i just changed it for everyone to that, including existing members
updgraded the board from 2.0.7 to 2.0.8 and made some other minor changes.
Whoa! Look at all these 0.0.1 worth of changes! Like a new belt, I tell ya.
made some changes with the host to ensure backups are running properly. in the unlikely even of another board crash, we should have a weekly restore point.
The board timezone was set to UTC, causing some weird time/space rifts.
The time is now set to the timezone where the server is actually located here in socal. So you might have to readjust your profile settings if you had a specific time offset from the old board settings
A few people have been complaining about the board cutting off their posts, and I suspect it was because they were using special characters that were tripping the board up. I updated the database to accept foreign characters. hopefully this takes care of it.
