Music for the 4th of July.
« on: July 02, 2014, 07:09:24 PM »

My friends in the Shady Street Show Band (https://www.facebook.com/TheShadyStreetShowBand) made this song for the 4th. It's cool, it's country, it's patriotic; and you're a damn good american if you listen to it.

Also give Shady Street a shot, their music is super cool.

In addition to "Some Gave All", "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue", and "Have You Forgotten?":

This was going to be my suggestion but Mike WK ruined it by having good taste and being quicker than me.

I have no idea what this song is about but it has the right title. I loved this song growing up and still like it despite not knowing what the fuck the lyrics are supposed to mean.

Having said that, I'd rather listen to Papa Roach than GG Allin

I play accordian/guitar and sing together with my girlfriend who plays ukulele in our band Lagom, we sing songs about the internal contradictions of capital and watching Rupauls Dragrace.
