I figured I'd make a new thread for comic talk since...well, you already know. Anyways, what are y'all reading right now?

I just finished up the second trade of East of West, and I'm glad to see that Hickman is toning down his style a bit. He's really good at world building, but he tends to throw readers in too quickly. It's almost like learning to swim by being thrown into the pool, but then also be asked to complete a race against an Olympic swimmer. If you aren't familiar with it, it's about the end of the world in a sci-fi/Western/Fantasy version of an alternate history USA.

Saga forever.

I also started re-reading Spawn and The Maxx but fell off it at some point within the past couple months.

East of West has been VERY slow lately....lots of panels and pages eaten up by conversation....which I actually like. I have trouble not writing that way, so it's nice to see a master doing the same.

Saga forever.

Saga is so great! The wait between trades always seems so long, which is okay since I just end up rereading all the old issues.

Yeah, I can't think of any comic quite like Saga. So if anyone else can, I'd love to hear about it.
