I was talking with nate on facebook about the deep web, why it exists, it's benefits (protection from government surveillance, etc. but it also is a haven/cesspool for sociopaths to explore the darkest, most twisted places humanity can go. I've been watching these videos and i need to stop.. the sartre quote comes to mind.. if you gaze long into an abyss the abyss will gaze back into you

The creepiest and most paranoia inducing thought is how expensive it is to "indulge" in what the sites have to offer.. Celebrities? Congressmen? Philanthropists? Or is it some average 9-5 joe who saved every penny for years for that special day. Both are horrifying thoughts
