No offense, but I really feel like it isn't necessary to make a new thread each time you have a new release.

There is a "post your music" thread.

Amen

Sometimes a lifestyle change really can pull you out of a depression. I think i get the most depressed when I stay in one place for two long. I have 2 shows coming up so I guess I have some time to prepare, but after that I think I'm packing my bag, putting my thumb out, and getting back on the road for a while.

It probably doesn't bother most people. I just feel naked without my glasses and I'm not too comfortable taking them off in front of people.

I know this thread died a while ago, but I'm not feeling well and need to complain. I think I'm an alcoholic, also I may be homeless soon. I want to go back to college but I dropped out twice already. Also I don't really enjoy things like playing music nearly as much as I used to.

When people ask to try on my glasses. Its not socially acceptable to try out someone's hearing aid and say "woah, you really are deaf!" Why is this any different?

dude! you're in pensacola!? ive only been there once for 3 days but I LOVED IT. and This Bike is a Pipe Bomb was from there right? and ive heard other awesome bands from there. No wonder your music rocks! I'd be willing to drive down for atlanta and hang for a couple days when i have ~2/3 days off from work. cause i'm only the lonely and FRIENDSHIP! that was meant to sound stupid, for realz. but seriously. love that town

I actually live about 30 minutes outside of Pensacola, but yea there's some pretty rad musicians here. I wish I knew about folk punk back when TBIAPB used to play shows. That would be really cool! Maybe we could even play a show together or something.

I know how you feel. I've had a really close knit group of friends for a few years, but everyone is getting married and moving. Now I have 3 really close friends and that's it. Living in a small town, everyone meets people through work or church and I'm unemployed and nonreligious. I'm just now starting to get into the Pensacola music scene, so hopefully I can meet some cool new people that way. Also it kind of stinks that all me and my friends do when we hang out is drink because there's nothing else to do here.

Thanks bud! I love your stuff as well. I can't wait to hear what else you record. As for the free listens thing I'm not sure, I'm fairly new to bandcamp myself.

Audacity is a good program. I also am learning to use Cubase because it came free with my recorder, it seems really easy to get used to.

Thanks! I'm actually playing a show with those guys in a couple weeks. I realm like the way that sequencer sounds! I found an old tape recorder at my grandma's the other day and I've been messing around with it a little bit.

That's really neat. I can't wait to hear what kind of stuff you end up recording!

I recorded my last album on a zoom R8 multitrack recorder. It was the first time I ever recorded anything with multiple tracks, so I was afraid of getting anything too fancy. I'll attach the link to my album. The song Andy is probably the best example of what it is capible of, that was the last one I recorded and I kind of got the hang of it. The drums are loops and stuff I made.

Mullen is definitely the best. The amount of moves he invented is crazy. Back when I was really into skating, my favorite was always William Spencer. He's not the best technically, but he's so fun to watch.

They're going to be making a documentary about Elephant 6 that I think looks like it might be pretty cool.

I think the more important question is what you do when you're getting your hair cut. I haven't cut my hair in 5 years and it's about time in a few weeks and I don't trust any of my friends to do it (I've gotten really used to the hair I have now so I don't want it to get too messed up) but I feel really nervous about what I'm supposed to do while I'm there.

my mom used to cut my hair when I was little, and I'm so afraid of the situation being uncomfortable that now I cut my own hair. I've never had my hair professionally cut, ever.

Most of my childhood photos were destroyed in a tornado, but this is what I managed to scrape together.

I heard one of the chemicals in their bread is also used to make yoga mats, I'm not sure how true that is though.

This is my band, we play music.

And it's about stuff like Rupauls Dragrace and killing the upper class.

I really like this. A lot.

I know this isn't the pet peeves thread, but another one of pet peeves just so happens to be people putting a space between the eyes and mouth when making a smiley face.

I bite my nails in public but only when I'm uncomfortable or nervous (which is almost always).

I really hate it when people say the word "expecially" instead of especially.

I look right at the dentist the entire time, usually at the mask they wear over their mouths. Never realized until now how uncomfortable I probably make them though haha.

I'm glad someone put Modern Baseball on here, great band! Joyce Manor is one of those bands that I really wanted to get in to, but just can't. There's also this band called The Caffiends that I've been super into lately.

I wish my social anxiety came with an off button.
I also wish Vault soda was still a thing. (Mello Yello gets me through the day, but it's just not the same)
