It is entirely possible that she lied and her confession to that is true.

However, a celebrity of sorts is suing her for more than a million dollars, and his lawyers might have convinced her to recant as part of some settlement.  I have no way of knowing which of these scenarios is true, but I think the latter should at least be acknowledged as a possibility.

Yeah, this is something I've kind of been wondering about too.  Especially because this story wasn't the first time I've heard or read about Oberst being inappropriate or worse with teenage fans, possibly without even realizing it (i.e., just thinking about interactions as just being "perks of the job" or whatever)

It's just all around shitty.  It sucks that if she lied about it/made it up, she's making it that much worse for victims of sexual assault everywhere.  If she is saying she lied about it to get the libel suit dropped, then it sucks that she has been victimized twice by someone who was in a position of power both times. 

I'm super into ginger beers right now.  For mixing with whiskey and on their own.  Gosling's is my favorite because it's super spicy.  Reed's is nice too but it's less aggressively ginger flavored and has a little more fruit to it.

I also loooooooooove Diet Coke.  It's so good.  I can't really stomach coffee anymore and I'm usually way too lazy to make tea at work so Diet Coke has become my go-to stress caffeinated beverage.

Mine hasn't shown up yet but I also think our mail carrier skipped our building yesterday/doesn't actually deliver to us every day anyway.

I just think most pale ales and IPAs taste like cheap beer with a healthy dose of potpourri oil mixed in.  There is like one from Stone that doesn't make me gag.

Rob's parents have taken us to a Brazilian steakhouse a couple of times.  In case you are unfamiliar with the concept, dudes in matador pants serve you unlimited meat off of swords and there is also a really bitchin' salad bar.  It's like 60 bucks a person just for the food so I get a weird guilt complex about them spending the money on me and feel like I have to eat their money's worth of sword meats and massive asparagus. 

Orphan Black is killer. Best writing on tv and they just introduced a new clone that is Tran. never seen that on normal tv before

I am currently obsessed with Orphan Black right now.  It's soooo good.


I'm also really into Game of Thrones right now.
