there was this awesome site OhLife that sent you an email every day and all you had to do was reply with a journal entry.  It would keep track and publish them all onto a private page.  Eventually they stopped having enough traffic/revenue and had to shut down the operation but it was kicking for a solid few years.  I'm really glad I have those records to look back on but I can't seem to inspire myself to write something down every day.

this is the best new music i've heard in so long, SUPERCRUSH, a three piece recording project from folks normally in metal/hardcore bands. 
dreamy pop with the catchiest hooks and fuzzed out vocals.  only four songs across two 7"s which doesn't help my love for them at all.  this stuff was dreamt up in the 70s and only coming into fruition now, can't stress how much I love.

Bought a Teenage Fanclub CD and a book on Moz and Marr, best flea market in yearsssss.

I swore off fest three years ago and then, of course, after the magic was gone, the stupid bands I play in started getting on the lineup.  Playing again this year and not dreading it!

The PRFM is my year after year a massive let down but today I bought REM and Teenage Fanclub CDs and a book on Morrissey and Marr, best haul at the flea market ever.

When I'm on my laptop at my parents' house I make it my goal to maintain my composure, straight faced and always aware of what's going on in the real world.  Otherwise I risk a million questions from my mom about 'What's so funny?  Who are you talking to?  Show me some pictures from that trip!  Can you look this up for me?'
I would like to thank pronetoaccidents for sending me into a giggle fit I could not control.  Like a chameleon losing it's camouflage my presence was made aware to my wonderful mother and now I am stuck explaining your stupid story because I'm not quick enough on my feet to think up something to brush her off in less words.

In two days I'm leaving to ride my bike across the country then will be spending a couple weeks in the NW and California.  West coast friends, I'll be hitting you up soon!  Take me surfing!
