Has no one mentioned Lynda Barry as a woman who makes great comics? She's been making comics for a looooong time.I'm seconding Lisa Hanawalt, Hot Dog Taste Test is really funny.

I live outside the city because I know my landlord so my rent is cheap. But Philly is pretty cool. Lots of punk shows and shows in general, even though I'm pretty out of the loop. Pretty good comic and zine scene as well. Pretty good food, cheap etc. It's cool.

I finished it like a couple weeks ago. The male gaze-y stuff definitely lessens. I was pretty entertained throughout. What page is everyone on?

If so what program do you use, or what Midi controller? I really want to get into this, it seems chill. I already play a variety of instruments, but have limited piano playing skills. Any advice is appreciated!

I've been watching Lucha Underground. It's been a while since I have watched a pro-wrestling show on the regular.

Better Call Saul is better than I thought it would be.

I've been catching up on the Legend of Korra as well.

I know it's a song and not a band and I generally like the B-52's but I can not stand "The Love Shack."It's so sucky, the more I think about it the more I hate it!

I finally bought the book! I am on page 120... The parallel story reminds me of Kafka at the Shore.I think the writing in this is a little more refined though. I am interested in seeing how the two stories come together. Does 100 pages a month sound good for everyone?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) 3.5/ 5

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie wasn't bad, definitely had some corny parts, but it was entertaining enough if you don't overthink it. Their  origin was the worst part in my opinion.
