This is a sweet potato appreciation thread, because I recently learned Jer doesn't like them. Do you like sweet potatoes? Are the the most punk root vegetable?

Every windows laptop I see these days looks super cheap and awful. Anyone know who makes something good in this day and age? Anyone happy with their laptop? I've had Dell and Sony ones and they were garbage. The Lenovo and Asus ones my friends had at school seemed really cheap. I have a macbook for my art stuff but I need to keep all my years of Windows info somewhere. Reviews online don't seem very helpful. What should I do?!

I saw this topic on another board and thought it would be fun to do here.
What are your most hated moments in songs/albums? Not necessarily in bad songs or albums, but just moments that totally, well, suck.

The example OP used was in "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N Roses, when he fucking sings "Sha-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-kneeeeeees" is sooo grating and unpleasant. Another for me would be hearing all the different vocal inflections Billy Corgan uses in "Bullet with Butterfly Wings." I liked that song until one of my friends made fun of it by copying all the different voices in the song. Now I can't unhear it.

Does anyone still use one of these? I really hate streaming services and my phone is ancient. I love my Zune which still works great but I need more storage space. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was considering getting a 160 GB iPod classic because I'm not crazy about touch screens but they've been discontinued. I'd rather create conversation here than do the obvious thing of just googling it. Any suggestions?

At my first (non local band) show I saw Dan Potthast from Mu330 play solo and was immediately in love. And another band named Vuvuzela who opened for my friend's band and they were amazing. They play dark creepy chamber music. Your stories will probably be more exciting and relatable than mine....

Besides PIX CD's, who here collects rocks, books, art prints, etc?

I sometimes feel like I have a crazy amount of shit I've collected it gives me anxiety about having to move eventually. But I have a lot of cool local skate shops, book stores, thrift stores, record stores, musical instrument stores, and a movie rental place that sells super cheap old DVDs that I like to support. And I can't leave the beach without both pockets full of rocks and seaglass. What are ya'll hoarding?

When you're at the dentist, do you close your eyes when they're fucking with your teeth? Or do you look up at the ceiling or away at something else? I usually close my eyes because I don't want to be staring at them while they're working. WHAT DO YOU DO?

How are ya'll? Good I hope? Are your houses/ apartments and everything all good? All your babies and record collections etc didn't spill all over the floor?

If you got an email, I guess you don't have to do anything, assuming the plaintiffs win the lawsuit every email address used to buy tickets from them will be compensated with discount codes for buying tickets in the future. You will receive codes for every show you bought tickets for up to 17 shows. Anyone else get this?
