I meet a lot of people all the time since I'm organised politically but almost all my "real" friends who I actually hang out with on a regular basis are the same as the ones I've had since I was a kid except for a few people I used to live with.

Radiator Hospitals new record is a-fucking-mazing, no joke homie.

Also RVIVR has released a new 7" which is fantastic and Caves are releasing a record in a month which will probably be the best thing to happen to the world since sun dried tomatoes.

+ Wrote a song about Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary, the first people to climb Mount Everest.
+ Wrote a song about honeybees and how cool they are, it's going to be called Natures Little Communists.

I think the more important question is what you do when you're getting your hair cut. I haven't cut my hair in 5 years and it's about time in a few weeks and I don't trust any of my friends to do it (I've gotten really used to the hair I have now so I don't want it to get too messed up) but I feel really nervous about what I'm supposed to do while I'm there.

I heard of it, looked into it, saw that the site has a god awful design, never looked back.

Today I'm drinking this:

It's called Blå-dåre (translates to Blue Idiot, it's an idiom) and supposed to taste like blueberry, which it in no way does. But it's still pretty good, and your toungue gets really blue after drinking it. It's made by a swedish brand called Tre Hjärtan but apparently they now call themselves Three Hearts so I guess they're available outside of Sweden now?

I bought Primitive Rites new 7" today, it's crazy good.

Primitive Rites is a local hardcore band who are pretty depressive and dark, but not in that whiny and annoying way that many american hardcore-bands are (like Have Heart, even though Have Heart is pretty sweet as well in their whininess)

Also, on their last record (a self-titled full length) they have a song about hating the "kids" in the scene, how can you not love it?
https://primitiveritesmalmo.bandcamp.com/

Edit:

Though, they really are a lot better live (and I still absolutely love their studio stuff) because the singer (Jonas) has fucking _amazing_ stage presence, he really encapsulates the feel of the music incredibly well.

Seriously, watch the video. I promise you will enjoy his performance even if you might not like the music.

The new Coca Cola (Coca Cola Life?) was pretty okay. If I understand it correctly it's made with a mix of sweetener and sugar. The question is _why_.

This is my band, we play music.

And it's about stuff like Rupauls Dragrace and killing the upper class.

I really like this. A lot.

Thanks so much! We're playing with Andrew Jackson Jihad and Caves next month, it will be really cool.

I think a lot of this talking about cultural appropriation easily gets out of hand. What should be discussed is Exotification and Commodification, simply Appropriating is what everyone does, both consciously and unconsciously. It is simply how people and culture  works.

And I doubt Ancient Egyptian culture could ever become more commodified or exotified than it already is, it could be discussable whether or not the commodificiation of ancient egyptian culture still holds culturally neocolonial tendencies however.

I would just not do anything that you have to ask a webforum if it is okay, because the fun of wearing a costume is kind of lost if you aren't sure if it's okay or not.

Is he really underrated though? I don't think anyone denies that Phil Ochs is amazing.

Links on the Chain is his best song by the way.

Guardians of the Galaxy was great, James Gunn is probably my favourite director at the moment.

Not accurate at all.

A E D E

iirc.

Otherwise it's A E D A but I doubt it.

Master of Sex is probably the best show running at the moment, too bad it has the worst title in the history of television.

my girlfriend got me into that hbo show girls. it has it's moments.

I loved the first season of girls. Loved. Then in season 2 they got a lot more serious very quickly, and the characters turned more assholeish every episode, and by season 3 i completely despise every one of them. I guess it's still good if you like watching people being assholes to each other, but I can't really relate to it because it's just too much assholeishness.

This will likely be a total disaster, but I'll be reading it.

Like most un-asked for sequels/remakes. I really have no idea how they can take the story any further, what can they possibly do? Will Edward Norton (forgot his characters name) find another imaginary friend or what?

I listened to a lot of local crust and hardcore and thought I was the shit.

Now I listen to a lot of local crust and hardcore and think I'm the anti-shit.

Pathfinder is pretty fun although daunting, you should try Dungeon World if you liked Pathfinder but disliked the really strict kind of min/maxing attitude that the game demands.

Munchkin is awesome, especially when you play a version you haven't played before.

Didn't know Star Trek Catan was a thing, sounds really cool. Sounds kind of like Imperialism in Space which is a game based on the book Imperialism by Lenin. In space.

It's a pretty bad book (as compared to more recent studies on Imperialism like Empire by Hardt and Negri) but the board game looks pretty fun.

how dare people have fun the way they want to.

The issue isn't that people are having fun, the issue is that I'm not hehe.
