i tried to give the bands a shot. i listened to a good portion of them but i dunno, it just sounds very cut and paste. but that's the current state of affairs in punk rock, probably all rock and all music and probably has always been. i feel like bands are either doing the garagey powerpop throwback thing or the warped mutant hardcore (big zit, crazy spirit, dawn of humans, lumpy and the dumpsters type which is extremely awesome but why their awesome is because they put a unique spin on it).. maybe i should give them another chance. or maybe i missed out on some awesome bands on the label. thanks for the free music samples though, i hope i'm not coming across as mean or judgemental.
