Are you talking ALL Propagandhi? They've had several different sounds since they formed. Do you hate it all?
Minor Threat
Fugazi
I don't hate them but I don't care for the Mountain Goats.
Yeah, I'll second Minor Threat. Black Flag aren't that great either. Any band that is hardcore and doesn't have much variation or melody really doesn't do a thing for me. I can tolerate it but don't like it.
The Pixies
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
MGMT
The Smiths
Not hate, but I really don't like the majority of PIX bands

yes, all propagandhi. listened to the whole discography, all of it didn't connect with me at all.
Listening to Neutral Milk Hotel is like getting trapped at a party by someone repeatedly insisting that you let them finish telling their 30-minute joke, while fearing that the punchline will be that they kept you captive for 30-minutes while you kept trying to walk-away from a joke that had no punchline.
Really hate The Smiths.
Strongly dislike Neutral Milk Hotel (won't use "hate" because "King of Carrot Flowers, Pt. 1").
Really, really hate Arcade Fire's music.
RVIVR

RVIVR
I agree with their politics and I appreciate the fact that they exist, but I do not particularly care for their actual music at all.
This thread is spot on with the title I like every band mentioned so far. I even like generic hardcore music.
fun.
lemuria
kevine devine (Other than brothers blood which was a decent album)
Mars Volta
The Misfits
I've never been able to get really into RVIVR except the song Real Mean
Against Me! Even their old stuff I just can't stand.
I hate Neutral Milk Hotel. So much. The Smiths, Bright Eyes, Green Day, Any of the non-punk stuff listed already: fun., MGMT, etc. (not that all I listen to is punk, I just can't stand any of those listed bands).
As for Black Flag, I like their music (first two records anyway) but I think they're revered way too highly in punk. What they did for the DIY scene is awesome but there are lots of bands with better music and messages doing the same stuff in that era. Too much macho guy bullshit.
oh, and

Love pop punk, but I've never liked the descendants.
I am still baffled that someone who is into punk music doesn't like any Propagandhi. I'm getting an error message in my brain when I try to process it.
i don't think kw is much in to punk music, is the issue.
I also hate Propaghandi.
Though disliking Descendents I cannot abide.

the older i get, the more i realize how much i just generally dislike the genre.
though, in fairness, i even tried propagandhi's more recent way more metal stuff, and couldn't get into it at all.

I think you should have started a "bands that you hate that Nazis seem to love" thread for this post.

I second this so hard. I've really tried to like those bands, too, 'cause it seems that's what the Memphis scene has been all about lately.
Tom Waits. Tom Waits is 100% the exact kind of thing I should love, but his voice is just so Cookie Monster to me.
I cant like lucero, people love lucero right?

The best Lucero songs I've heard fall into the "not terrible" category. I can't understand their appeal.
Yeah I guess thats how I feel. So it doesnt belong in the bands you hate thread.
Weezer. I guess hate is a strong word, but I really dislike them. Everyone always tells me "you just need to listen to their old stuff', but I don't like that either. Their lyrics and melodies are unoriginal.
Odd Future
I don't think anybody has cared about Odd Future (aside from Frank Ocean) since 2011.

Because they/ Tyler and Earl(? maybe) apparently have crossover appeal into the skateboarding realm, I can't avoid them. Same with Lil Wayne. But I don't think anyone really likes his music.
lemuria
Mastodon
Masked Intruder. I think the concept is awesome, and I like some of the music, but the vocals are just too sugary for me. I guess I like my pop punk a little dirtier.
Sublime... Most overrated "ska" band ever of all time in my opinion.

Very much this. I dont mind their existence all that much, but holy shit they get way more praise than they deserve.
Tool.
Metallica and Slayer.
Whoever the fuck sings that "In love with the coco" song, holy fuck that song needs to go away.
ACDC.
Every Rose Has Its Thorn, Enter Sandman, Smoke on the Water, and all the other songs that newbie guitar players play endlessly.
Andrew Jackson Jihad (I dunno if they frequent these forums, but I'm not trying to start shit).
People who aren't 19-year-old fratboys in 2004 praise Sublime?
haha yeah i think sublime is shit on way more than praised
I liked Sublime a lot better when I was a teenager in the mid to late 90s. I love Tool who were mentioned earlier. They put on the best live show I've ever seen, though me being very fucked up may have been a factor.
Any rap artists whose first album came out 2010 or later fits into groups/musicians I hate that everyone loves. There may be 1 or 2 exceptions

I know it's a song and not a band and I generally like the B-52's but I can not stand "The Love Shack."It's so sucky, the more I think about it the more I hate it!
Yeah, one of the worst songs.
The Mountain Goats. I really don't get it. My friend even brought me to a show and I hoped that seeing them would make me understand why so many people love them. It didnt.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
I've tried to listen to the Misfits, but they just don't do anything for me. (For the record, I don't know if everyone loves the Misfits or if the Misfits are just good at marketing.) "Dig Up Her Bones" is probably the only acceptable song.
While I like what Crass was about, the music... Ah... I don't actively hate Crass, but I don't think I would ever have the thought, "I really feel like listening to Crass."
(On the other side of things, Propagandhi is my favourite and I'm wearing a Masked Intruder shirt as I type these very words!)
Holy shit the video for Dig Up Her Bones is hysterical, I can't believe they are still fooling little punk kids sounding like some serious butt rock.
You really like that song the most compared to danzig era misfits dude?

That song is the worst, but "Rock Lobster" is one of the best things ever.
I had no idea that that shit version of The Misfits ever existed. . . I wish I never would have looked at that dig up her bones video.
Also, Song for a Future Generation and 52 Girls are probably the best B-52 things ever. Rock Lobster is ok, I guess... I don't hate it, but I feel like it's always go-to B-52s at parties, so it's kinda meh.
Mesopotamia is pretty good, too. I guess my point is that Rock Lobster sucks comparatively. lol.
(also, I feel like Daun from the Door-Keys would be awesome in a B-52s tribute band for Rock-n-Roll Prom or whatever.)

It's possible that my tastes have changed. I haven't tried listening to the Misfits since 2008 or so. I just listened to "Dig Up Her Bones," and that certainly hasn't held up, so who knows what's what anymore?

Godspeed You Black Emperor.
I just don't get it.
A friend of mine liked them, so I figured I'd check them out. I spent a couple of hours on one of their albums. Then I switched to the next track.
